Four vinar newspaper tax stamp of Vienna print


Press A. Reisser in Vienna printed newspaper tax stamps in only one run. Four vinar stamps of Vienna print were issued on 15 November 1919 in circulation of 278.300 stamps (according to A. Jug, mentioned in Fleck, 1947: 480).

Print plates

Four vinar stamps were printed in three different press sheets together with other denominations. According to reconstruction by Fleck and Bar the following 4 vinar sheets exist:

  • from the 1st press sheet: 48 stamps in layout 12 x 4
  • from the 3rd press sheet: 30 stamps in layout 10 x 3
  • from the 4th press sheet: 100 stamps in layout 10 x 10
