Commemorative and semi-postal issues of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia
5 May 1933. Commemorative issue. Meeting of International Pen Club in Dubrovnik. Printed in letterpress by Printing State Works (Državna Markarnica) in Belgrade. Pane consisted of 60 stamps in 6 X 10 layout.
Stamps were printed in two phases: first the right side of the pane, then the left side. Due to this procedure misalignments and color shades are known to exist within the same pane.
There are two types of tabs:
- Type I has dots behid XI and int (“XI. int. kongres”),
- Type II is without the dots (“XI int kongres”)
Full circulations of 50 + 0.25 din, 0.75 para + 0.25 din and a small portion of 1.50 din + 0.25 stamps were printed in Type I. All other values were printed in Type II.
The same tab inscription form was used in printing multiple values, therefore the same varieties might appear on multiple values on same fields in a pane. Some errors were noticed already during production and were fixed.

Printed in letterpress by State printing works in Belgrade, paper chalky, perforation 11½ : 12 on landscapes and 12 : 11½ on portrait formats. Valid until July 31st, 1940. Printing sheet consisted of 4 panes, each having 25 stamps in 5 x 5 layout. This is the only stamp issue in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia where the country name is printed only in Latin script.

Designed by Oto Antonini, engraved by Karl Seizinger. Line engraving by State printing works in Belgrade. Perforation comb 11½. In one part of the circulation stamps perforated 9¼ on the right side only exist.
Note: the same stamps were printed in changed colors for philatelic exhibition in Slavonski Brod which should take place between the 13th and 20th of April 1941. The war in Yugoslavia started on the 6th of April and the Independent State of Croatia was declared on the 10th of April. These stamps were released by authorities of newly created Croatian state and were later also overprinted.
