Definitive issue of 1919 – 25 vinar stamp, lithography

The 20 vinar stamp was printed twice in lithography technique in Tiskarna Blaznikovi nasledniki in Ljubljana. Details are displayed in the table below:

The stamp was printed in two different press sheets:

  1. 200 stamps in two sheets, each having 100 stamps in layout of 10 x 10
  2. 300 stamps, similar as 20 vinar stamp:
  • 2 sheets of 100 stamps each in 10 x 10 layout,
  • 2 sheets of 50 stamps each in 5 x 10 layout.

Typology based on sun rays

Print plates were produced by multiplication of a strip of 10 forms, each having different layout of sun rays. In sheets of 100 stamps, the types are uniformly distributed with each type in its own column, while in sheets of 50 (5 x 10) stamps there’s nonuniform distribution of types, as shown in schematic drawing above.
