Yugoslavia: Children’s Week Stamps
4 October 1954. Children’s week. Printed in offset by Printing Works Jugoslavija, Belgrade. Perforation line 12½. In use until 11 October 1954.
Although this stamp was sold at the post offices and its use was obligatory, the legal aspect of this issue is contested for the following reasons:
- the stamp wasn’t issued by the competent postal authority,
- its use wasn’t announced in the official bulletin,
- documents with which the stamp was supposed to be introduced to the post offices doesn’t exist,
- the stamp wasn’t registered at the Bureau of the UPU in Berne.
