Type II		 Type I (Kuo-Kang printing house, Hankau):

  • top horizontal line of the Chinese character at top left interrupted,
  • solid shading between soldier’s feet.

Type II (Ta-Ming press house, Shanghai):

  • top line of the Chinese character continual,
  • gap in shading between soldier’s feet.
